Some people travel to see. I travel to eat, and then I come home and figure out how to make it properly.
Synnova Atelier started the way most things worth doing start: not with a plan, but with a compulsion. A lifelong habit of cooking seriously, eating intentionally, and returning from every trip with a head full of flavors and a notebook full of questions. What was that wok? How did the texture get that way? Where do I find that at home, and what do I do if I can’t?
This site is the answer to those questions, worked out one item at a time.

What You’ll Find Here
Synnova Atelier is built around the home cook who already knows their way around a kitchen and wants to know more. The analyses here come with context because context makes you a better cook. The descriptions are specific because vague ideas produce vague flavor profiles. And the travel thread running through everything is there for one reason: the places we eat change the way we cook, whether we mean them to or not.
If you have strong opinions about olive oil, if you’ve ever rearranged your carry-on to fit something you found at a market, if you believe that cooking well and traveling well are two of the more satisfying things a person can do, this is for you. Synnova Atelier exists to make you more confident at the stove, more curious on the road, and better equipped for both.
